IU "Stuff"

This collector reached out to me recently to share his collection celebrating Indiana University and his family's legacy - his grandfather and father played football for IU.

"Stuff" doesn't begin to describe it...amazing!!

yeah..not the deepest tradition of success with the football team :o, but there is a fair share of basketball items too...and you gotta appreciate the passion. One of his first items was a stub from 1940 iu/pu game that his grandpa kicked the field goal to beat PU 3-0 @ purdue.

As a huge IU fan, absolutely love the collection. Was it on the Big Ten Network show that features collections from the Big Ten?

Wow! Very impressive. As a Purdue alum, it's cool to see some rare IU/Purdue stuff in there.

Wow! Even as a southerner I love Big Ten football history. That 1967 Hoosier team with Jon Isenbarger and Harry Gonzo captured my imagination after reading the SI with he cover that read PONT JOHN PONT!

That followed the 1966 Purdue team that won the Rose Bowl with Leroy Keyes, as a young junior high football player then I soaked up every second of the limited football on TV.

I DVR the Big Ten Treasure Hunter every week, wish there was a version for each conference including the dearly departed SWC with my Razorbacks.
