Nice Edge Wear on this T205 Cobby
I knew this card looked a bit off when I saw it. Eventually I will own another T205 Cobby. To me it's one of the best looking cards in the hobby. And this one is being sold as unknown. I am guessing if I told him he might not believe me. For anyone that doesn't know, those white edges are not kosher (along with many other things).

That's actually not a bad fake, but yeah, the border wear color isn't right. And the lack of any staining on the Polar Bear back is a dead giveaway. Props to him for posting eight pictures though, he definitely has faith in his product!

Those unnatural rounded corners are what made me quiver with dismay.

I need to make a list of E-Bay sellers to stay away from.
Not that their all crooked and all they sell are fakes, but I don't want to support any of those who even attempt selling an occasional fake. |
Leon, would you mind if I Sent you a PM about a T205 Cobb I just bought?

A piece of sandpaper, 5 minutes, and voila!

This seller is selling at least a few different TPG company's holdered cards/coins yet this one is ungraded? And Since it's ungraded, and not known if it's real, will start it out at 1/10th of book. That's a pretty good plan. I guess my first question would be, why isn't it graded?
