1938 R329 Clopay Foto Fun - lots of pics

1938 Clopay Foto-Fun cards are neat little oddball items. Happen to have a whole bunch (68 different) in our collection. These came in packs that included negatives and developing paper. Hold them up to the light and bam, you've got a photo. Slip it into the included frame and you've got yourself a "card."

Just messing around this afternoon and decided to snap an iPhone photo of one of the negs. Inverted the colors using the Photoshop Express app and voila, instant photo. Pretty cool. Chose a few to present below. Enjoy :) .

I like R329s....Do all of those ya'll have, have the full packs? And why did Jeff B designate these as R, for Recent Candy and Gum?

Wow! Awesome! The player on Gehringer's card looks more like Gehrig to me.

Good question. Jeff B's designation might require some investigation.

What we have are 68 different loose negatives, exactly ONE frame, and 13 unopened packs of extra developing paper.

I just took a look at some more of his photos via google. They have similar swings, for sure :) .

Great stuff. I never about the photo paper that you could make extra images with.

Back from the dead :) . Has anyone got a link to the most complete checklist for these? Checklist on Old Cardboard suggests there are additional players they don't have listed.

You might check the SCD......not sure any old pubs would have an up to date list.

Wish these cards popped up more often. Been looking for that Sullivan card of my grandfather for ages now, and never even seen one for sale.

Rich, I know I sent this to you via PM last night but thought the rest of the board might like to see. Here is Mr. Bell in all his Foto-Fun glory:

Is there anyone else out there with a large collection of these? I've got 68 different and would love to see what the ones I'm missing look like. Checklists I've found online have at least 94 different listed, so there are still quite a few I haven't seen.
