Did any of you catch the Hank Aaron special on the Smithsonian channel? If you havent i highly recommend it. Its crazy all of the sh*t Henry had to go through leading up to #715. I wonder if he genuinely thought he was going to die after breaking the record. Anyone who's seen it whatd you think about it?

I was disappointed in it. Thought it was 90% about race, and 10% about baseball. Maybe that's the way Aaron sees his career. Very sad if it is. I hope the one on the Babe will be better.

Sadly, having started in the Negro Leagues and then having to deal with what he dealt with around setting the HR record, I think it's fairly certain that race loomed very large in his life.

But I'm a white guy, so what do I know?
