Peyton Manning announced his retirement today. Given his impending surgery, and the Super Bowl victory, we were all expecting it. I am relieved for him. Going out on top was a good thing to do. He will be missed, to say the least. He had a great career. ---Brian Powell

It worked out well for him that he was on such a great defensive team for his last year, and he was able to win that elusive second title even though his skills were not what they once were. Stand-up guy, always gracious in both victory and defeat.

I don't know about stand up guy. Ever heard of Dr. Jamie Ann Naughright?

So as a kid he acted inappropriately once, if you believe the worst about that incident. And yeah he should have owned it if it happened. Nothing to write home about obviously, but not enough to taint him.
