This auction is for a signed 1980 Topps card of 1976 AL Rookie of the Year Mark "The Bird" Fidrych. Mr. Fidrych was a colorful character and two-time All-Star who passed away in 2009. Card is in great condition with sharp corners. Autograph is bold blue ballpoint.

Wow, I still remember watching him pitch in his rookie season on TV during the weekend national broadcast. Grooming the mound, talking to the ball.... it was great!
