This card has grown in leaps in bounds. I remember about a two years ago, I had a PSA 5 that looked like a PSA 8. Tiny, tiny surface wrinkle about 1/18th of an inch wide brought it down. Mine sold for $1,100. God, I wish I had that card back!

Yep, that's why I put OBO. Also, 2 others listed for $3500 & $3995.

wrinkle is a killer though...as good as centering puts cards in almost in another higher category maybe even crossing to the next grade, wrinkles do the opposite no matter how small if stated in the auction listing..

It just suspicious for that auction that theres a bid retraction for 3000 and card sell for 2900... funny Deans cards actually has a psa 5 listed for $3250 and cheaper on their website..who knew they would be cheaper than the 2 listed amounts you stated....maybe they selling at market price now?

Let's not get carried away. I'm sure dean put a 3 instead of a 4 by mistake.

A red hot card. Good luck with the sale. I was surprised at the price of Dean's, and his SGC 60 example as well. They almost seem reasonable.

sometimes when prices go up a ton..they exceed his prices...if you list a card for 5 years it can happen

I am in the market for a nice 53 or 56 Mantle. Is that a surface wrinkle though along the top edge on the back? Hard for me to tell.

Yes, it is. Would have been a 7 without it.
