"it smells old and smells of tobacco"

I've had relatives that can be described that way as well :-)

"I had a friend come take a look and he believes it to be real as well." - Oh, well, hell Gomer - then I'll certainly be a'biddin' .. And the one bid for a grand from the new eBay member that has 100% bidding activity on just Horsegirl's amazing stock, that's has to be real as well.

My favorite is the "sick, super low starting bid"...

Count me in. The value of tracking enjoyment should not be underestimated.

"original/reprint: Unknown". Yeah, I'm sure. Also even if there was an INKling this was real, that would've been submitted to PSA or SGC immediately.

Mic drop!
Definitely vaguely reminiscent of the excrement of the equine species

The lone bidder so far seems determined

I wish my neighbor (who I don't like) would die and leave me his valuable sports collectibles. How lucky can one guy get?

Edwolf1963 02-25-2016 02:24 PM

Same Bidder

Yes, how does that happen? Nobody bidding against - showing 3 of the same bid, three different days, same bidder?

I assume he just raised his high bid....twice

Scocs 02-25-2016 02:34 PM

Hate to tell the buyer he just spent a grand on a reprint. 🙈🙈🙈

iwantitiwinit 02-25-2016 03:54 PM

The buyer knows its a reprint because the buyer is most likely the seller.

Since it is most likely a shill, maybe they lowered their high bid due to the fact that the card had no bids and they were afraid of too high a fake bid which would leave the seller stuck with the card.

I believe what happens in a case like this is that someone else put bids on the card, but a***8 bid was higher.

Does feel like a shill to me.... at least I hope it is. Better than someone paying $1,000 for it...

And I thought the board hiccups sometimes. This bidding pattern looks like a hiccup.
