Would love to know who got a PSA 5 shoeless for $745!

Ebay in the late 90's was the sweet spot.

All auctions, amazing bargains to be had for the diligent as everyone had not watched "Pawn Stars" and thought their 89' Sheffield lot was worth 8k.

The only thing that really blew was the risk of mailing a money order and hoping that you got your winnings. Feedback meant everything at that point.

There is no way to know, but my assumption is that the 2007 card was incorrectly entered under the wrong player. VCP has been known to do that. I have certainly run across instances where other CJ's have been incorrectly entered and the pictures of the card that are with the entry bare that out. The price one year later of $22K+ may not be too bad a price either, in retrospect. Thats a bid of about $18K without the juice. Not bad for a PSA 5 1914 CJ Joe Jackson!
