Another Ted Williams auto question....
2 Attachment(s)
Hoping that some fellow Net54ers can provide a little info on this item. I picked up what appears to be a postcard in the mid-80s at a local card show and it was advertised as having a genuine autograph of Ted Williams. I have a few questions if anyone can help:
1) Does the auto appear to be genuine? 2) Was this a team issued postcard? Or something issued by the Williams family? 3) If it is a postcard, about how old is it? Thanks in advanced to anyone who can help. Eric |
It looks like it might be a facsimile autograph and if not remember about the open "d" and the open "a".

That is not an authentic signature. There is way too much between the "a" and the "s", and Ted had one of the most consistent signatures around.

Bad.
I hope everyone who reads this remembers this on Williams. IF EITHER THE A OR D ARE OPEN AT THE TOP IT IS NOT REAL! |
Thanks guys!
Luckily i'm not out too much as I picked it up "back in the day".
