JSA Stickers
 

An eBay seller of an autographed ball told me today the JSA sticker isn't visible because JSA recently stopped applying stickers to balls with a Letter of Authenticity (non-auction). There is a picture of a letter but no sticker on th ball. PSA Quick Opinion says Likely Genuine. Thoughts?

You're asking a question about sticker policy, but then reference a PSA opinion. You are better off just posting a photo of the item unless you are trying to keep it hush hush. To answer your initial question, I still think it's the buyers option to have the sticker or not with a full LOA, but I think it's dumb to put any sticker on an item when the LOA has a photo.

I paid for a PSA Quick Opinion, which is separate from the LOA used in the listing. I think the item is genuine. All of my own JSA items with letters do have a sticker though so it was hard to tell if this was in fact a policy change.

The customer can opt to have JSA place the sticker on the item or on the letter itself when they issue a full Letter of Authenticity. If the letter looks legit, I would not be concerned that there is no sticker on the ball. Many submitters opt to not place the sticker on the item.
