At first I was skeptical, but then I read that his cousin vouched that it is from 1949.

I just puked all over the place ! In the back it says replica of 1949 ....

I guess "replica" and the "(C) 1989" on the bottom didnt give it away?

And the address with the zip code.

Most fake listings make me shake my head, but this one made me literally laugh out loud. Looks like he stuck his thumb in a bowl of Raisin Bran.

I don't normally bother but I emailed him just to see what he would say. He said he thought the 1989 referred to a future contest. You can't make it up.

Fantastic!! I wonder if he would have any interest in buying the 20 or so MINT copies of this card from my collection. Then he could really make some money.
