I am NOT looking to start a S--- Storm with this listing and if is unacceptable to offer this in this forum, I will remove this listing, upon request.

I am helping to settle an Estate in the Buffalo, NY area and have come across an UNOPENED, STILL-SEALED 4/5 quart-size Bottle of 1957 Schenley's O.F.C. Canadian Whisky.

Although I am a wine drinker; I do not (often) drink Fire-Water. But I THINK that some of you might!

I am QUITE CONFIDENT that the bottle and contents are GENUINE, ORIGINAL, and UNOPENED. However, for some reason, this is NOT something that I can list on eBay.

I would simply like this to end up with someone who appreciates UNOPENED PRODUCT!

I would like $80.00, $65.00 FIRM, including shipping via PayPal FF.

How would you verify the potential new owners age?? :D

Eggoman 02-04-2016 01:52 PM

AN EXCELLENT POINT! The Potential New Owner would have to verify their age or have MANY posts about OLD pieces of cardboard that many of our underage youth cannot identify with...yet...hopefully!

And be able to pay with PayPal FF....

:)

Didn't know that, Rick. I don't drink but I bet that whiskey would taste awesome

Cool bottle...I have no idea if it would be good but I would like to be around to try it. As far as sending it goes...I send bottles of wine to people as gifts through online sites and it gets delivered via Fedex. I do believe it can only be delivered if signed for by an adult at the time of delivery. You may want to give Fedex a call and see if it can be sent through them.

Thanks for the note! But I, too, have shipped wine via FEDEX with no problems! I don't think that the higher proof would matter, but I will look into that before I accept any payment from anyone interested!

I THINK that the Whiskey would be just fine - since spirits are distilled and not fermented like wine, they should last almost indefinitely as long as they don't evaporate!

We DID finish the last few fingers of a 1956 Bottle of Crown Royal from this Estate! WONDERFULLY smooth! Couldn't sell a few fingers...AND didn't want to waste it either... I SAW NO OTHER OPTION! :D:D:D

The whiskey is fine so long as the seal has not been broken. Once in the bottle whiskey stops aging, so the only question is how good was that company at the time at making whiskey. Here is a 100 year old bottle of scotch, still sealed, that I have.
