I found this on an auction table for $2 : /
Any opinions?
the made in china stamp is unnerving...:( Looks like real ink and writing at least. http://s30.postimg.org/4gui7fkhd/DSC05733.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/r6tn0f3ox/DSC05734.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/3jsocaycx/DSC05735.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/w2s7uzxip/DSC05736.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/dxkbe24c1/DSC05737.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/6iuzloigh/DSC05738.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/itsjjhtv5/DSC05739.jpg http://s30.postimg.org/fj46jm3xt/DSC05740.jpg |
I like my balls with age, they look legit. This looks possibly Chinese lol
What I'm thinking is that maybe a person that was ready with his own ball had it signed by the team. If not I'm not sure. |
Facsimile signed.
|
I'm not able to find any other examples of the signatures on the ball, or is that not necessary?
I'm noticing that some of the signatures look broken for no reason as if it is copied from a different ball. |

thanks, this site is invaluable. I thought it looked bad and waited till I could get it for $2 just to see.

Is definitely facsimile signed

2001 New York Yankees souvenir ball. Mike Mussina's first year there and Scott Brosious last year with the Yankees.
|
It is just me or... it's kinda weird for a New York Yankees souvenir ball to not even have Derek Jeter on it?!
