Compiling a Zack Wheat Checklist
Hello. I am compiling a Zack Wheat Checklist of cards from his playing days (1909-1927). I am not including any Brooklyn Team Photos or multiple cards with the same front with different backs (i.e. T206). With help from the Vintage Card Prices site link provided by fellow members below, I was able to update my original list and this is the list that I am going to use.
Zack Wheat Checklist: 1909 PX7 Domino Disc #123, 1909 S74 Silk, 1909 T206 1910 P2 Sweet Caporal Pin Small Letters, 1910 P2 Sweet Caporal Pin Large Letters 1911 Helmar Stamp, 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folder, 1911 T205 Gold Borders 1912 T207 #194, 1912 M101-2 Sporting News, 1912 T202 Hassan 1913 Tom Barker Game 1914 B18 Blanket Blue, 1914 B18 Blanket Green, 1914 Cracker Jack #52, 1914 Piedmont Art Stamps, 1914 T213 Coupon 1915 Cracker Jack #52 1916 Fleischmann Bakery, 1916 Sporting News M101-4 1917 E135 Collins-McCarthy 1919 Universal Toy 1920 Holsum, 1920 W514 #110, 1920 W520 #8 Yellow, 1920 W520 #11 Red 1921 American Caramel E121-80, 1921 Exhibit Horizontal 1922 Neilson’s Chocolate Type 1 V61, 1922 Neilson’s Chocolate Type 2 V61, 1922 W501 G-4 #22, 1922 W503 #44, 1922 W573, 1922 W575-1 Holding Bat, 1922 W575-2 Swinging Bat 1923 Willard’s Chocolate V100, 1923 W515-1 #56, 1923 W515-2 #56, 1923 W572, 1923 German Baseball Transfers 1925 Exhibit, 1925 W504 Universal Toy, 1925 W590 1926 Exhibit Blue-Gray 1927 Exhibit |
I am not positive on this one but isn't there a D327 Holsom bread issue of Zack Wheat?

Thanks for the replies so far. There is a 1920 Holsum card and I also found out there are a few more Exhibit issues. I have updated my list in the original posting. The link to the Vintage Card Prices site has provided a lot of items that I was unaware of previously.
I know there is a 1916 M101-4 of him too!
Check my collector focus page it's at the bottom of my posts I have a few Wheats.
Cracker Jack 14 and 15
I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 1923 W590. I believe they were first issued in 1925.
I had the W590 listed twice. I deleted the 1923 item.
May not matter for your purposes but T206 Wheat was released late 1910 or early 1911.

Might be semantics, but if you have his t213 included in the checklist (which has the same front as his t206) it can be extended to include the t214 Victory and the t215 Red Cross of which I believe he is included in both. |
Here is what I have in my database...

This checklist keeps getting longer. Thank you everyone who has provided responses. It is unlikely I will ever acquire all of the cards, but you never know.
