Anyone else have a stamped card like this?

See, I'm not the only Brian on this board allowed to post odd/funny ebay listings. Brian (not to be confused with Brian) |
I collect stamped cards and have never had one of those. Someone stole that one....
|
not sure I get it...it seems it'd be extremely easy to take an old stamp...postdated just like this and put it on the back of any period card?
|
I wish I would have saw that. :(
|
I didn't know that George Washington collected Zeenuts or that he stamped his collection.

I like stamped cards, but only if they look postmarked. (IE: the cancellation extended onto the card, this one does not look like it is original)
I just liked the Wingo for less than 10 bucks already nicely protected. ;) Been wanting a couple zeenuts to see how I like them lately and most of the cheapies are murderously trimmed. Seeing an Arbuckle has drawn me in to looking at them. (Even though it is unlikely I will ever get that one.) |
Cancel does not extend onto card. A cancelled stamp was glued to back of card; card was never mailed.

You know you guys could have bid it up for the poor seller that lost all this money on the card. I'm kidding I picked these up in a lot of cards and had a group lot graded by SGC.
Now I have another group coming but most of those of Babe Ruth's and no stamps, sorry. :) |
Just a note Brad for next time...first class postage for a card like this is 49 cents, not 3 cents. Stonepony up the extra 46 cents next time.

I sent it back in 19what ever it was, so its just taken a long time to get there...
