Good luck collecting your Red Sox team sets! Who is your all time favorite Sox player? Scott |
Welcome Garth, you have discovered a fantastic place. And, dare I say, "party on".

Welcome aboard Garth!
Don't hesitate to ask the members questions as they have vast knowledge of everything you could imagine in the hobby. I still find myself learning a lot. . Have fun! You should purchase a Leaf Ted Williams - beauty of a card - one of my favorites. . . |

So far the only problem with the boards here is that there's so much good stuff to keep track of, I'm always thinking I'm missing something. :) |

A big part of why I collect the Red Sox team sets is to learn more about the history of the team and players, especially the lesser knowns such as Agganis, Jackie Jensen, Mel Parnell, etc. I also take whatever doubles (triples, etc.) and give them to my two boys, nephews and niece on their birthdays with a letter about the players and the teams they were on. It's been fun so far and maybe they'll take up the hobby themselves. |
