Burke Postcard - Lefty Gomez Autograph value? 2 Attachment(s) Bought this a while back and looking to sell but have no idea of value as I got it really cheap to be honest. It's a George Burke Lefty Gomez signed postcard. This dates 1926-40 I think it is and is not one of the later George Brace postcards. Any help would be great so I can figure out an idea of how much to let it go for. Thanks, Brad |

Very nice, bold vintage signature Brad. To the right person you might be able to get $75-100. Tom C |

Thanks Tom! Could you assume that it might have been signed during his playing days? When did his signature change? |

Gomez used the more lowercase looking "g" with his informal autographs until at least the 1960's. His more formal autograph at that time was more of a scripted capital "G", which is what his signature became for informal autographs later in life. I definitely think yours is a playing days signature, or shortly thereafter. Tom C |
