SOLD: 1924 Paul Thompson Photo - Freddie Lindstrom (autographed)
 

Up for sale is an incredible original photo taken by renowned NYC photographer Paul Thompson of Hall of Famer Freddie Lindstrom. The photo measures 6-1/2" x 8-1/2" and bears Thompson's stamp on the back.

This photo features a crisp and clean high-quality signature in black fountain pen and would seemingly have to have been signed at or near the time it was taken. It's clearly from his rookie season thanks to the writing on the back that mentions John McGraw and the Giants' pursuit of a fourth straight pennant and that the rookie Lindstrom was filling in ably for the injured Heinie Groh.

Photo is EX-MT, borderline NM and the signature is a strong 8 of 10. Comes with an LOA from JSA.
