I agree.

JMANOS 01-03-2016 05:41 PM

Is my price in line??

Thank u in advance…I have never seen the back like this on the front…I have seen ghost images but never a back. Let alone the whole back. Its even more clear in person.

Luke 01-03-2016 05:56 PM

I would guess it's worth somewhere in the $20-40 range.

CMIZ5290 01-03-2016 05:56 PM

Wet sheet transfers are very common, especially with Tolstoi backs...

JMANOS 01-03-2016 06:16 PM

wow...

A whole back wet transfer on the front go for $20 dollars....not a word or 2 but the whole back is wet transferred on the front of the card. I bet i could get more then $20

Luke 01-03-2016 06:36 PM

Yeah, you probably will. I think that ballpark is pretty accurate though. Maybe $25-$55 or something would be more correct. It's a cool card.

JMANOS 01-03-2016 06:42 PM

guy just emailed me an offer of $100

turned it down....

Vintageismygame 01-03-2016 08:37 PM

I have a Young with a wet sheet Piedmont back transfer.

Agree it's just a wet sheet transfer. No huge premium.

z28jd 01-04-2016 09:38 AM

I have a couple like this with Sweet Caporal backs and I believe when you see the whole back that looks like that, it's a storage issue probably from long ago with moisture causing the transfer to a pile of cards. Wet sheet transfers aren't as fuzzy as storage transfers and seemed to be a big problem with Tolstoi cards, but many other brands can be found as well. To get the big bucks, you need the image to be facing the right way and actually printed on the front, not transferred there through moisture/wet sheet.

Jobu 01-04-2016 09:44 AM

I hope you don't regret that. I agree with everyone here on pricing. I had a Kleinow with a similar SC WST on the front and sold it here on the BST for $40-45 and it was not an immediate sale.

Agree with this. It's a transfer all right, just not a WST. Moisture got to it.

Either way it's pretty darn cool if ya ask me. Pick your price and stick to it. Don't let everyone push you around. You got what they want. Plain and simple math if you ask me

I don't think anyone is pushing him around. I saw it listed and didn't say anything at first because I didn't want to interfere with a sale. Then he asked "Is my price in line?" and then that's when I gave my opinion, although I never quoted a price. If he asked, I'd say his price now is more in line with what they are worth. While cool, it technically is a damaged card, not factory made that way. Brian/Jobu sold one for $40 and that was listed for awhile before he sold it. You can see the link above.
