Is Steph Curry now the best player in the NBA?

This guy is maybe 6'2 and 165 lbs, maybe soaking wet. If you look at Golden State in their last 98 regular season games, they are 83-15! I had given up on watching NBA games years ago, but this guy and this team is absolutely fun to watch! By the way Cleveland fans, they will repeat as Champs....

What I like about GS is they move the ball around, and Curry rarely takes a " bad " shot or forces one up. As a result, Curry makes the players around him better because they are all involved. Drives me nuts watching the Lakers because the ball stops at Bryant. Never took a shot he didn't like......

Being from the Bay Area and watching him play often no he is not the best player in the NBA . He is most likely the best Team Player . The supporting cast that's around him and the unselfishness the entire team shows makes him a great player . Take him off the court and the team still plays top notch basketball . I believe Lebron is still the best at this time in the NBA. He single handedly kept the Cavs in the finals . Remove him and the team suffered . Yes I do believe W's take it again this year. Brett

Nor would he want to.

I know Curry gets a lot of credit but Russell Westbrook isn't too shabby either.

There's really no dispute at this moment. That could change whenever. Right now, as of this post, there's no question.

I would consider doing it, although I think David Price would pay more.

I have not been to an NBA game since OKC stole our beloved Seattle Supersonics. IMO the Sonics organization boasted three of the best 3-point shooters in the history of the NBA; "Downtown" Freddy Brown, Dale Ellis, and Ray Allen.

They were not in Steph Curry's league. He is the greatest shooter I have ever seen. There are stories of Bird, or the "Holy Hand" Oscar Schmidt in zones when they're draining 30 footers, but not off-balance from EVERYWHERE on the floor. He is the first player, legitimately, to be able to pull up from the hash and say, "that's a good shot". Incredible to watch, and single-handedly reigniting my enthusiasm for the game.
