Very Interesting nonetheless. The 'real' one you show, looks as if frosting in the B-L corner on it. Arrgh!! which is the real deal??? Link to Peter's comparison: http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=214412 |
Common sense. You think Legendary's was fake and some nobody on ebay with no feedback outside of fishing rods has a real one? I have a bridge, would you like to buy it? I would bet anything the ebay one is fake.
Actually it is Mastro 2005, just shows up as Legendary on cardtarget. http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...entoryid=46570 |
Pretty sure everyone agrees the Ebay one is fake, I was just pointing a small flaw on the other one, thats all.
If the new buyer sends it into PSA for the new slab, and PSA deems it fake, would PSA return the card as it was or break the slab and send it back raw as fake, so theres no intention to re-sell it again. |
When I first started collecting cards I'm pretty sure you could get what would have been the equivalent to a PSA 5 '52 Topps Mantle today for well less than $5K. Ah, the clarity of hindsight. That being said, I'm not sure my parents would have bought me one even had they known...

When I was a teenager I passed on a 52 Topps Mantle for $900 that was at least a PSA 6! At the time that was a fortune to me, so I picked up a 53 Topps Campy instead, since it was more affordable. Oh well.
