Contest.. When will Goldin Auctions close?

Their auction format goes into the night as the auction closes down all at once.

5:12AM is my guess

4:33 am - I do like to watch but I never make it to long

Looks like 5:32 was the winner

Had each lot went off with a firm time or a clock, then I would have bid on 4 lots. However, was not going to bid up stuff to wake up in the morning to see I lost. Plus, I do not believe in placing higher proxy bids with ANY auction house. Nothing good can come out ofthat unless you value your sleep that much. If I just have to have something Ill make a pot of coffee and get ready to watch back episodes of SNL on my DVR.

In these late night auctions, the bidder that wants the item the most and has the cash for it...will win it every time. Everyone else is just making excuses.

Very True on that. I wonder what the percentage is on collectors/investors card budgets, in todays auction environment is annually?

Under 1k. 20%
2-10k. 62%
11-20k. 10%
21-50k. 5%
51-99k. 2%
100k+. 1%
