How can I bust an auction in Detroit?
Lots are riddled with bad Fakes from Frangipani
Help! -FYI, the auctioneer probably knows the stuff is bad. http://www.invaluable.com/catalog/se...y&pb=false&wa= |
I would try and get a hold of the local FBI office or local law enforcement and let them know.

If you can get local law enforcement involved, have them buy one of the items. Then submit the item (along with known authentic exemplars) to the forensic dept. of the local police.
This will work like a charm. I did this in NYC and nailed about a dozen sellers on ebay, when I reported bogus autographs to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs. This was during the Marino family investigations, when crooked sellers on ebay were feeding the Marino crap into the market. |
Rich, can I pm you to get more information since I have some questions.
Thank you |
The auction takes place at a comfort inn off 12 mile rd? maybe thats a sign
|
Problem is you need to prove that the seller knows it is a forgery. Effort is great, but you need to be able to prove a crime

Taz,
I sent you a PM answer. This is probably too small for the FBI. |
