Vintage DETROIT TIGERS pin with catcher age?

Would one of the resident baseball pin experts be able to date this Detroit Tigers Champions pin? Thank you.

That pin seems to have been narrowed down to either 1934or1935..

How about maybe 1940 (AL Pennant) or 1945 as well?

tigers pin

from the 1940's, so 1940 or 1945, 100% not from 1934 or 1935.

I believe it from 1935. Muchinsky also shows it with other pins from 1935.

Hi Mike,
That is what I was going by in Pauls book but as I also know its hard to date these pins as to age and I also know the GOOD DR. has been wrong on more than one occasion. So yes it is possible its 1945,but if you bank on Pauls book as the bible (I Dont) its 34 or 35.....

Just for reference as to where the info came from..

Thank you for all the helpful info. I think based on the placement in the book and Muchinsky being the foremost authority on vintage pins places it in either the 1934 or 1935 time frame. Might be 1935 since the Tigers won the World Series.
