I had snipes in on all three wanting to pick up one and I picked up the three. But no, I'm not selling the Sweeney for less than I paid for it. I have no clue who you even are - but can assure you I will never sell you anything with that stupid ass offer.

Offering the cards here at twice what you paid a few days ago even after 1 price reduction could also be considered a stupid offer.

Ah - more stupidity. I also picked up a Red Cobb PSA 1 about three months ago that didn't register on any auction finders for $185. In this case I should have turned around and sold it for $170. Makes perfect sense.

sadly all of my t216's are much nicer than yours...so I will pass!

Pete - Not sure what you're talking about? You said you were watching them. So you know I picked up the SGC 45 for $234. Stetson was plain as day saying he wanted that card. I understand you're upper echelon and beyond having a low grade Kotton. Bt surely you're kind hearted enough to sell him one of yours in comparable grade to the SGC 45 for the $234 which according to you is market value....since you cared so much to comment on all of this.

Price gouging...that's rich. Yes, I bought three items when intending on buying one and put the other two up for sale at what has been more realistic numbers for those items. What an asshole I am. How dare I not give someone the cards at the exact same number (or five dollars less than I paid). Nobody else here has ever flipped a card.

I am not as grade centric as some, Dave. Yes...my t216's present much better than those overpriced ones you are trying to sell at double what you paid on ebay a few weeks ago.

Do they grade 45 or better...NO.

And yes...when I see idiots buying cards at auction...that pretty much everybody has seen...and then places them on the bst the next week for multiples higher...I will comment.

Take the prices of the Kottons that have sold the past 365 days and you let me know if my prices are out of whack. You basing the value of these solely on what these three went for that night just proves you're an idiot.

I had snipes on the sgc 10's for $250 or so each and on the SGC 45 for $525....MUCH closer to the prices they have been going for.

No, had there not already been comments from the OP (post #4) to start things off then a comment about previous pricing would be against the rules. (to me) When I saw post 4 then all bets were off on this being a BST thread without comments. These comments aren't meant personally towards anyone. And the rules are still the same, there shouldn't be interference in BST threads .......but extraordinary things can happen as in this one.

I would imagine everyone that bought T216's over the past few months appreciates your "expert" opinion that the market on them has crashed. You're truly a man out to rid the card collecting world of all evils - at least in your mind. In my mind you just sound like a woman...worried with what everybody else is doing.

When I saw your initial post, I offered what I honestly was a fair price. After Leon chimed in, I simply commented that it now looked as though there was a slim chance you were going to sell those cards. Perhaps I shouldnt have done that but your responses to a benign possible customer (me) clearly shows me what a class act you are.

Go ahead and spin it however you want. I saw your cards listed on ebid. You have a pretty good idea what cards are worth - as you have them priced that way as opposed to what you bought many of those for in the previous month or two. It's no different. You also have in your want list T216. I haven't seen another T216 sell for $125 this year. I'm not saying it hasn't happened...but I haven't seen it, and VCP hasn't seen it. Nor did VCP pick up mine.

You know what the cards went for on eBay, heck you asked about the Shean even though it's not for sale, all the while saying you shut down your eBay account. I've already put the analogy out there...but if T206 beater Cobbs have been selling for $400 on a general basis over the last year and someone grabs one for $200 and tries to sell it here for $400, do you think you're really going to get it from them for $200? Would you turn around and sell it for $200? Going by your cards you have for sale, you would NOT.

Fact is, it wasn't Leon chiming in that derailed the cards being offered - it was you. Go ahead and chime in on someone's cards for sale and state in the thread itself you will give them HALF what they are asking for. Heck I was asking for what in my mind the cards have been selling for...there is plenty on here on the BST and on eBay alike that ask twice what cards have been selling for. Have you thrown a bone at them??
