1. This same exact card sold just 5 months ago for $3000K +

2. Your scans listed are the same ones used in that very auction

3. You look to be a new member here at N54, just signing up today :)

4. Do you have any other hobby references that reside here I can check with before sending funds to a complete stranger? (I'm sure you can understand that)

5. Any way to send me a pic with you holding the card in hand? Again, I hope you can understand this request.

if the card is worth thousands and you are paying hundreds..isn't that greed usually what gets people ripped off? that's what the fraud sellers take advantage of...like Ponzi schemes saying you will get 15% interest etc.......

why not just pass on this one eh?

Jake, pay close attention to my comments made in this thread. No one was taking advantage of anyone here. I know as well as you that this was not legit which is what I was pointing out to everyone here in the wide open, including the seller.

yeah was just talking in general.......amazing to see all of the 1952 raw mantles found in the attic and have to be listed non-original still go for 100 bucks

Amazing how many new posters think they are going to show up on this board and scam people by "selling" a $3,000+ card at 20 percent of its value in their first post on the board. The card being "offered" for $650 in this thread sold for $2,750 before the juice at Huggins & Scott last year.

He just scammed a couple people out of $550 for his mythical Hank Aaron rookie in the 50's-60's section too

I was made aware of this around 15 - 20 minutes ago and immediately banned the seller and left him a voicemail on his registered phone number. It sounds like a fairly young male.....maybe teens? .....

I hope in the future you guys will PM me quickly on these kinds of things. Always, always check out our members profiles closely. This guy has been a member for 2 days including today. That is a red flag to start with.....and a word to the wise to at least check into it.
