Collection of 36 1921 Exhibit Cards
2 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I few years ago I purchased at an estate sale a collection of 36, 1921 Exhibit Cards. They are all in very good condition with the exception of a red dot/sticker on the back of them. Does anyone know why the sticker would have been placed on the back? It's frustrating because I'm concerned this will impact the value of the cards. I attached a front and back image of the ty cobb card I have. The back shows the red sticker on the top left. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks |
Unfortuantely, I have no explanation and you're right, the red dot will impact the price. At least it is on the back and not the front :) Incidentally, this isn't the first group to have the sticker. A board member was selling one a few weeks ago with the sticker as well.

Those were on all 1921's originally from what I understand. They were some friction device that helped in the dispensing process. I'm not sure they will affect the price negatively......someone more knowledgeable on this subject will chime in............they look very nice o/w. |
Or....they'll REALLY affect the price so I'll give you $20 for the Cobb............
