1948s back from PSA.....
4 Attachment(s)
Just got these back today from PSA. The first 3 were from the "2014 Find" of low numbers. Take a look at that Carl Braun #72 (last card in set).....is that a nice PSA 5 or what!?!?!?!?!?
I am pretty happy as these were the only 4 I sent from the 1948 set in this batch. Mike Attachment 203739 Attachment 203740 Attachment 203741 Attachment 203742 |
I have heard about some unbelievable finds of high grade 50s-60s cards in the last several months. Those are great looking '48s.....and generally shoulid go in the section for them but those are worthy of front page status anywhere!! Nice score

These are incredible. That 5 probably has a micro wrinkle somewhere.

Thanks for the comments.
The 5 baffled me until I remembered it has 2 little print dots on the back. They are big enough to look like little ink dots but they are 100% in the card and are factory dots. If I had accepted an MK or PD qualifier, I think this is a PSA 7 all day with qualifier. I am one who does not like qualifiers so I asked for a straight grade. At next year's AC National I may have them re-look at it and if it is a 7PD or a 7MK, I might have them switch it out. Thanks and will post a photo of the back of the Braun as soon as my iPad gets enough juice to take a photo. My daughter ran it down to 0% today! Peace, Mike PS I just posted the photo of the 2 dots. What do folks on here think that it would get graded with those 2 dots if I choose to accept a qualifier? Attachment 204007 |
