Very neat, not sure what they are..... could they be some type of progressive proof missing the black ink portion of the printing?
|
Looks like they missed the gray and black ink on that sheet.

1970
Since they have regular backs I do not think they are proofs. Agree with Adam that black/gray color defect. Neat items
|
Thanks guys - you are correct - no gray on them either .
Any idea on values ? Thanks Matt |

Do they look to be factory cut? |

If you want to see them added to a 1970 collection that includes a full PSA 9 (or better) registry set, wax, cello and rack unopened, and all sorts of additional 1970 Topps pieces then send me a message. I'd be a buyer.

Worth
If you want to know what they are worth put them on eBay or the BST here. Looks like you already have some interest.
|
Thanks for the help . It's appreciated . They do seem factory cut .

They are all from the first series and are all cut with identical centering, so I would think it is safe to say they are all from the same exact sheet.
|
I'd be interested also. You really have to auction them to get an idea of value because print freaks price out all over the place.
|
Thanks for all of the responses and help - will post when I decide what to do with them
Thanks |
Those are quite striking-the Athletics Rookies especially!

1970
Time and the increase in obsessive compulsive types ...like us :)....sure change things. If you had found that card in a pack in 1970 you likely would have felt Topps dad screwed you;)
