1910 OAL ball stamping
 

This is a panel from an American League ball that was very likely used during the 1910 season. Can anyone recall ever seeing another OAL ball with this BB Johnson/1910 stamping? There are a few TJ Lynch/1910 National League balls out there, but I've never seen another example of an American League ball with a 1910 stamp.

This particular ball also has the much rarer April 6-09 patent date.

I don't recall seeing a 1910 stamping but here's a similar ball with 1909 stamped on it. Not sure where I got the picture, it's been saved on my computer for a couple of years.

Great Ball! I have not seen that one.....and balls in general from 1900 to 1930 seems to have dried up as of late (the past year).

A couple years ago they'd pop up monthly if not weekly on Ebay, now you never see them.

Must all be in the hands of ball collectors.

A couple more photos of the stampings. Interesting the "MANUFACTURED UNDER PATENT..." notice has the PAT'D AUG 31-09 stamp added to it as well.
