My neighbor brought several packs of these to my house last night and asked if they were worth anything. This is about 75 years beyond my collecting expertise, but if anyone's interested, she's got some for sale!

Cheers, Mike

They sell in the 11-14 dollar range on eBay. The only real "hit" would be a Cal Ripken Jr. rookie.

Thanks, Jason. I take it I should go ahead, open them, and look for Ripken?

Cheers,
Mike

I don't think I could resist :) If you decide to, I'm in the market for a Ripken RC to fill a hole in my set :)

Let the fun begin! When I get the rest I'll let you if we find a Ripken.

Cheers,Mike

I would sell them if I were her. The chances of finding a Ripken are pretty slim and, even if you do, it could be off grade or off center.

You can buy a PSA 9 Ripken on eBay in the $50 range, an 8 probably in the $25 range. The risk isn't worth the reward. Sell them individually or as a lot.

I agree with David. The Ripken isn't that much of a hit. Keep them intact and sell as is.

Sell as is....the money is in the unopened and not the single cards.
