Is there really any reason why we cannot have a record of at least what was sold, since apparently the price paid is some sort of National secret?

I know I think its funny..i keep the sale prices now on whatever I sold unless told by the buyer not to post it which has never happened

I've wondered why not keep the original post up, and just add the word sold. You certainly don't have to include a final price, but that way people can see what was originally posted.
