What's the cheapest card for .......
What's the cheapest card for the following players on the White Sox in the card:
Ping Bodie Shano Collins Buck Weaver Harry Lord Matty McIntyre I'm pretty sure owning a Weaver will be too pricey but don't think so with the others. |
I would say "W" strip cards are going to be your best bet.

Collins has a cool e120 which shouldn't cost more than around $30 for GD/VG copy. You can get a nice E95 Lord for under $50 if you're patient.

Ahh Stirp cards. Not a huge fan of them but I do have a Ray Schalk at least a third of a Ray Schalk strip card haha. Luke: That Lord is on Boston though. I'm too picky I want them to be in a Sox uniform. |
It looks like he's in a vampire uniform to me. You could get a low grade copy and just cut off the part that says Boston. Problem solved.

I believe there's a thread on the front page for that  |
Lord and McIntyre are both in t205s which should be too pricey.

Thanks Corey !

Buck Weaver M101's are pretty cheap. I bought a beat up but not destroyed one for less than $200.
|
I like the T207 Bodie and Collins. The T205 Lord is sharp looking, and he also has a T207 as well. T207 aren't the greatest looking card, but they are pretty reasonably priced for the players that you are looking for.

I agree that T207s aren't too pretty and they're pretty pricey compared to T206 and T205s. |
Too bad you want them in White sox uniforms. There is a Bodie T212 on Amazon for $50.00. It looks nice but I think its trimmed.

For Buck, the W514 is the cheapest. You could get one for close to $100, but I read that you don't like strip cards. A M101-4 or M101-5 with a blank back ($150-300) would be the next cheapest option, closely followed by a poor conditioned Tango Eggs Weaver ($250-400)
