ebay rant
I have tried to list new cards on ebay with year and era only to have it not show up in Pre-War or 1910 search. I check and see that somehow the year and era etc. have gotten mixed up with other descriptions. I revise them and they still don't show up on a 1900-1919 search. There is a three hour gap for newly listed auctions on ebay right now which I find hard to believe. Is anybody else having these issues....the whole point of putting cards on ebay is so the maximum number of people can see them not that they are hidden away somewhere.

By a "three hour gap" do you mean that nobody had listed anything on eBay in the last three hours, or that it takes three hours for your listings to show up in a search? The former does seem incredible if that's what you're seeing (I'm not I a position to verify at the moment). The latter is entirely possible, especially if you're searching from the mobile-format site (which I've never had much luck in coaxing accurate search results out of).

if you look into eBay's fine print
I remember reading that it could take 24 hours for your listing to show up AND that there are times in which your listing will NEVER show up if a variety of conditions like priority placement, an excess of similar listings, or any variety of mumbo jumbo happenstances are deemed more significant. I can no longer remember all the specifics - only that my blood pressure went up 63 points after reading it.............

ebay
I meant that there were no listings for 1900-1919 card in the search even though I had listed five for auction.........I think they have this snafu every now and then where cards only show up in the 2,000,000 cards listed for sale and not in the more refined search regardless of how it is listed. Thanks...Jerry

The reason I mentioned the difference in searching from the standard website vs the mobile version: there have been several instances where someone wanted me too look at something listed on eBay, but because I was not near a computer, I had to resort to searching from my phone. After several unsuccessful attempts to bring it by searching for key words in the title as they read it off to me, I gave up and figured some way to get to the standard website (not the mobile version). Once I did that, I was able to quickly bring up the listing by doing the exact same search that had failed on the mobile site. For whatever reason that I can't fathom, the search results on mobile do not seem to be the same as when the identical search is performed on the standard eBay website.

glitch
I think it may be the same glitch that messed up the NYSE the other day....this is a bigger deal though;)
