1928 George Ruth Candy Co. short print #6 SGC 40 highest graded
1 Attachment(s)
$1500 only 2 cards graded by SGC and 1 by PSA with a blank back(it was a PSA 2). This is the short print in the set and highest graded SGC card…very difficult Ruth card in a very tough set. Card in transit back from SGC.

Bump
very difficult Ruth card graded by Bob Luce last week at SGC (there head grader)

Jim please help me understand how this was a short print in the set?

On other forums plus only 5 #6's ever graded by PSA and SGC combined
I would say 30 or so on each of the first 5 cards have been graded by the PSA or SGC(plus real blank backs r even more rare). Very tough Ruth card that doesn't get it's respect. Bob Luce head grader graded it last week and I bought from Mark Macrae a few months back. So it's the real deal. Blank backs were in the candy bar's also I'm told. Very controversial set as you know.

How do you know who graded it?

I asked to speak to the grader...
SGC is very good with there service matrix unlike PSA.
