1910 - A Fan for Fan - Is this real?

A friend has been researching for a couple of days and one site would show its fake based on the back being blank. Another site says the backs are blank on them. I just don't know which is true. Does anybody know?? - And what is the general value in this condition if it's real??

The real backs on these have a baseball in the shape of the fan, this one is NOT real. Also, the handle is MUCH shorter on a real one.
