E105 McGraw

Is there a backstory to the E105 McGraw from yesterday? I thought I saw one go for $800 about a month ago. Needed it for a back-run. Oh well. I was wondering if used to be owned by F. Scott Fitzgerald or something.

All three E105s went for very, very strong prices last night. I picked up the Dougherty, and thought I might try to upgrade my McGraw, but that was too rich for my blood. I'll have to hold on to my beater for now.

Daryl, Nice pickup on the Dougherty. Now go get that Wagner :D Agree the prices were quite strong, but they were nice looking examples. I was most surprised by the price on the Doyle.

Thanks, DJ. I believe the Wagners are still quite a ways off for me. :D

You're right, all three have great eye appeal for their respective grades, but... wow. Someone really wanted that Doyle.

Also, to whoever bought this card in Legendary a couple of years ago, I believe it's time for you to cash in: http://www.legendaryauctions.com/191...lot157477.aspx

I have wanted to get a Mello Mint for my collection for quite some time.

Starting to look like that particular (speed) boat just whizzed past me at about 100 MPH and soaked me to the bone in the process.
