2 T206 cut from the same sheet?

Looing for input on this one. Same pose, same back and factory, same cool WST on the back, and same crop mark on the bottom left of the front of each card. Could these two have been cut from the same sheet?

Bryan

I would be more inclined to say that they were from separate sheets due to the crop/alignment line being in the same location on both.

Thanks Jantz. I thought the same thing at first but the WSTs made me wonder if maybe I was missing something so I thought I would run it by everyone. I know WSTs are fairly common, but do we know that the crop marks were only on the bottom of the sheet? Is it possible that Leifield was on the left side of the sheet and that each card all the way up had a crop on the bottom left?

Crop lines on the front aren't as plentiful as back crop lines. From what I've seen, some examples with front crop lines also have a corresponding crop line on the back in the same corner.

Back crop lines appear in all four corners, but not always the same corner on every player example.

Front crop lines generally appear on the bottom border of the card and most are yellow, but there are exceptions as you can see with the Anderson that I posted which is black. The Chase posted below has a yellow front crop line on the lower half of the left border. It also has a back crop line on the back, same general area/corner of the card. The Willis has a front & back lines in the same corner.

To answer your second question, I don't think each Leifield had a crop line on a sheet. We would see more examples if that were the case.

Just posting this because it's kind of interesting that the only card I have owned that had crop marks on the front and back was also a Chase portrait:

transfers are the product of human "haste makes waste"......but in this case , haste makes errors:D.....printer printing those sweet cap backs was in a hurry to stack the sheets

Thanks guys. So I guess what I might have are cards from neighboring sheets that were printed and cut by a guy trying to get out of work in a hurry for a hot date. Not as fun as cards potentially from the same sheet, but still fun. Also means I can use one as trade bait, which I wouldn't do if I thought they were true neighbors.
