1948 Topps Magic Baseball Hall of Fame #12-K - Grover Alexander [Good*to*VG‑EX] Courtesy of COMC.com Raw one in similar condition available for $90. So that would be a good approximation, since it hasn't sold yet. eBay sold listings |
1948
One of 19 baseball subjects in the 1948 Topps issue, arguably the first Topps baseball set. I added William Bendix from the Movie star subset, in his Babe Ruth Yankees cap, to make it 20 in my set :)
It is very unusual to find one in as good a condition as the one you posted due to the way the pictures were self developed and hand cut. If someone is building a high end set, that card would be a nice addtion http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...539/img148.jpg http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...539/img149.jpg [IMG]http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/jj555/Bishop539/img150.jpg[/IMG http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...539/img153.jpg http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...539/img152.jpg http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...pspexu9gr7.jpg http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/...539/img150.jpg |
So you think $200-250 is a fair asking price?
