Holy (self-)Overgrading, Batman!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/T-206-BASEBA.../141685785356?

Card looks trimmed at the bottom, off-center/miscut, multiple color passes off register, and on the back, the left side is chipped pretty badly. If this didn't get an AUTH/trimming, it might get what, a 4?

FWIW, it's a buy it now that anyone looking for T206s has already seen.

Mt 9 huh? I guess if the grading is done by PRO or BCCG.......

Well, they covered their ass with their description:
Quote:

Our opinion of the card’s grade is based on over thirty years of examining, collecting, buying and selling tobacco sports and nonsports cards which we particularly enjoy collecting and dealing in. We are not selling the card subject to a grading company’s opinion. We do not and can not guarantee that this card or any card that we offer will be assigned this grade or any specific grade that the buyer desires if the card is submitted to a grading company.

I'd go a 5 (MC) look at the bottom looks kind of screwy to me.

How about this for reality...."We submitted this card for grading to PSA and received it back as altered. Accordingly, we broke it out of the slab and are offering it to you here and misrepresenting it as a Mint 9 card. We know for a fact that it has been altered because we attempted to square off the bottom of the card by cutting it and failed." P.S. we make no gaurantees. Have a nice day.
