Absolute Authentics? (Drew Brees Mini Helmet Help)
3 Attachment(s)
Hey all, first time poster, long time lurker, and I love the site.
Big saints fan here, and a few years ago, my wife bought me a signed Brees mini helmet as a Christmas gift, and I love her for it. I just recently got into collecting memorabilia for my other favorite players, and it got me thinking. The mini helmet she got me has the Drew Brees hologram on it, as well as a COA with hologram (and matching hologram on the helmet itself) from absolute authentics. I am trying to tell if this thing is real. The website (www.absoluteauthentics.com) doesnt exist. The hologram has serial numbers on it (AA83883) but there is no way for me to verify anything. Is the Brees hologram enough to let me rest easy? Has anyone ever heard of Absolute Authentics? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a few pics, if it helps at all. |

To shed some more light on Absolute Authentics products, they are legitimate. All of their items were signed at large private signings around the GTSM and Tristar shows. The version hologram you have is the legitimate one. The problem is, some scammer has stolen the name and AAA and 100% of these items are forgeries. They have a different COA so at least you can differentiate between the two.

I think the "other" AAA you are referring to is http://www.allamericanauthentics.com/ I have seen items with pretty much identical COA and stickers to Absolute Authentics, and the site it directs you to is what I posted above, which clearly looks bogus. Im a big saints and Drew Brees fan, so this helmet is for my personal collection, not for sale, so this really makes me feel great about it (as well as the JSA double confirmation, which i guess i didnt need in the end anyway) |
