big difference between 75s and 74s value wise |

If you are more of an investor and flipper who holds cards short term, that's cool. But your focus seems to be on cards' dollar values and value prospects, and there are many collectors for whom that's secondary, or even much farther from the forefront. |

As far as the magic plastic holders go for those that like them they are great. I have a few but would not pay a penny more for a card in a holder than I would raw. I collect for my own enjoyment though and like to fondle the cards.:D |
As long as there is a greater fool... Having said that 75s are different animal than 74s in terms of both condition sensitivity and desirability.

right...I am talking about 1975s that sold for 65k to be clear...much more desirable.. the great majority of collectors seems to sell part or all of their collection eventually..it just appears that the 'raw' cards seem to take a lot longer to sell from the postings in terms of what the seller and buyer think 'mint' or whatever condition is being offered is 'worth'...yes there are discrepancies on what a '4' or '5' is but its seems the buyer and seller are closer in terms of what to pay and accept on the card(s) with magic numbers just saying that there appears to be value in getting the plastic holders for high condition cards in the 1970s if ever going to sell ever.....don't hate the player hate the game...plastic holders are/hold people too.. |
