Help ID Honus Wagner Photo

Hello Gentleman,

I am needing some expert opinion on this RPPC. I purchased this card last year from Green Monster (Hi Jim) a year later and I still am not positive who this is with Honus. I've gotten opinions ranging from Bucky Veil to Lefty Leifield. The back is simply marked HS 1908 with 1906 penciled also. I believe the photo was taken during spring training in Hot Springs. The photo appears to have been taken at Happy Hollow, a famous amusement park including a petting show, shooting range and old time photographer. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated! *This is my first time posting on the main thread, so if this is in the wrong section, please move it. Sorry!*

Well, here's a picture of Veil.

Im sure others will chime in with better opinions but one possibility is John Dots Miller. It looks like him in his T205 card to me.

Not any help with identification, but it reminds me of this PC:

Ed,

Both pc's are remarkably similar. They feature they same overall design, display similar surface wear and are each dated 1908.

To Dennis and Bob,
After looking at the T205, Dots seems to be the more likely candidate verses Veil. Thank you gentleman for your input.

With certainty - not Leifield, not Veil, not Dots Miller.

Looks a bit like Otto Krueger as well, but just like Louis Alpern in the postcard with Clarke and Wagner a few months ago, may not be a player at all.

It's not Krueger and is unlikely to be any player in the 1906-1908 time frame that we are familiar with.
