FS/FT Lee Tannehill PSA 2 MK Asking $42 firm. GF spent $54 on it yes she didn't know what she was doing.

For a card of equal or greater value =)

What have you got ????

I'll upload a better photo later.

You guys are right. I'll keep the one she got me. Up for sale or trade now a PSA 2.5 Tannehill. $32 or trade for a similar grade or Polar Bear back.

Joem36 05-19-2015 02:06 PM

Yes, but it's cool she bought you a t206

Joshchisox08 05-19-2015 02:36 PM

Oh trust me I know she got me two lol only this one I already had. But I didn't tell her that lol.

Josh, shouldn't you keep the one she gave you and sell or trade the other one? It's so cool that she got you baseball cards I think it will be a senitmental gift down the road. Plus, what if she asks to see your set and you have a different Tannehill than the one she gave you?

Jobu 05-19-2015 04:42 PM

Huge +1 on this. I would keep this one and sell my other or just keep both - an angry/hurt girlfriend is not worth selling this card at a $12 loss!

I concur. Keep the gift, unload the other. Sentimental value is more important, and any woman that gives a card as a gift cares and is a keeper.

Joshchisox08 05-19-2015 07:40 PM

LOL but a PSA 2.5 is better than a PSA 2.O MK.

Luke 05-19-2015 08:10 PM

Not the right way to think about it man. Just keep both if you're attached to the first one. I bet 99% of us on here have never been given a baseball card as a gift from our significant others. That's pretty special. Also, happy wife; happy life :)

Joshchisox08 05-20-2015 04:16 AM

Lol I now feel like a bad person.

t206fix 05-20-2015 07:17 AM

Ah, man. I was about to offer you $2000 for the other one;). Good choice keeping it.

Joshchisox08 05-20-2015 07:46 AM

Yup you guys made me think otherwise I'll just sell/trade the one that I bought keep the one she got me.

She also got me last year for my b-day:
Kaiser Wilhelm batting PSA 3
Dan McGann PSA 3

This is the right move Josh. Years from now you'll always remember the card she bought you and it will bring back fond memories.

Jobu 05-20-2015 08:00 AM

Good move.

I still have all of the cards my grandfather, father, and brother bought me and those will always stay even when I pare down that part of my collection in the future (1950s-1990s). (My wife tolerates my collecting but definitely won't be adding to it any time soon!)

Good luck with the sale.
