Auction or Store Front titles
When listing cards on my little Auction site that I use as an internet store for my extra cards I reference Ebay to determine a price and title for my listing..
On many cards I look up I see something like this.. 1988 (BB) Topps #667 Luis Quinones.. Is the (BB) in the title of some significance to the card itself or is it just a marker placed by the poster to quickly find his card? I try to remove it from my titles when I copy and paste but sometimes I miss a few here and there. I have been removing it from most of my listings as I don't want to mislead anyone about the card.. Inquiring minds want to know... :eek: |
BB=BaseBall My guess anyway.

I was inclined to think that it meant base ball also but I wasn't sure.. It's like some cards I look up says Topps Tiffany and an identical card just says Topps.. I have been removing the Tiffany in the title of those that I look up and list just in case my card I list is not a Topps Tiffany..
Anyway thanks for the response, so much to learn and so little time to do it... :confused: |
Bb is baseball, fb football. You will know if you have a topps tiffany. The front will be much glossier than a normal front. Also the backs are a different color.

Thank you for that information on a Tiffany card.. I was leaning toward thinking the Tiffany card was the one with the wood grained border.. :D

BB to me is meaningless. PUT THE TEAM NAME IN THE TITLE.
