Vanc. Mountie Photo ID- help please
 

Two photos here- small one is a Chevron Woody Huyke. The glossy beside it is not labelled, other than photographer info on the back. I think it is also Huyke, but I see subtle differences, enough to leave me room for doubt. I am no expert, would appreciate any help. Thanks, Grant!

Looks like the same guy to me. The two small moles on the right side of his face seal the deal. Hadn't heard of him but his resume at bbref.com is impressive - forty-five years in the minors as a player and manager. Max should fly him in from wherever for the Vancouver SABR BBQ. Bet he's got some stories to tell.

Thanks for your help! And Woody is a great guy, too.....I remember going to games around '67 or so, and he was a regular at the screen, chatting up the fans before a game....

Wow - if only everyone was so careful. The 2 images without doubt depict the same person.

Do you happen to have any Brooks Robinson Mounties items? Would love to see...

Don't have knowledge of any Brooks Robinson items relating to Vancouver but I did snap some pikkies at Nat Bailey Stadium several years ago which you might find at least marginally interesting.
Little hard to make out but he is wearing a VM cap on the banner.

This is one tough card, I'm still searching!

Cards look great. You should lobby Topps to do a set of forgotten baseballers.
(not so forgotten I guess) So many players didn't get cards back then.
Now, they put out cards of "prospects" who never even touch double A ball.
Anyway, cool that they still have the photos.

There is the 1959 team photo with Brooks. This isn't a great version of then image.
