Help with photos
 

I picked up this 3 1x2 feet by 3 1x2 feet photo grouping and it is very dirty. Do I dare clean it with warm water? The photos are stapled to a wooden sign and not in good shape. Some pictures have names on them and I hope by cleaning I can make the names out better. Thanks for any help D.

If it were mine I would try what you are saying. I would try a very lightly moistened (with water), soft, cotton cloth. Be very gentle and I don't think you will harm it. If it looks like it will, once you start, you can always back off. It could use a light cleaning but probably isn't worth paying to have it done.
