If enough do, we'll press on. Thanks. -Jimmy |
Im In
I've submitted with him before. Excited about this time. Thanks Jimmy, ill get you list and cards sent out.

Jimmy,
Any chance of including cards valued higher than $100 (even if we pay a higher premium) .... or does the promotion prohibit this?? Thanks, |
Hi Jimmy,
If I have tall boy cards will there be a separate submission for those? -Alan |
The promotion limits the values...they don't wish to see a bunch of Hank Aaron rookies under the special. If it is close ($125-$150), then they will probably let it slide.

I have around 6 cards I wouldn't mind sending with. Problem I don't have PayPay. Would be happy to include cash, check, or MO to cover costs.
|
I think I have about 5 I would love to submit. Let me see what I can find. Thanks for the opportunity.
|
Yeah,we can do that. It has to be subitted separtely though. Same shipment, just not combined with the others.

Looking to ship to PSA aound the 26/27th of the month. Those that expressed interest, I will PM my address and you can send me what you want sudmitted. The 26th will be the cutoff on getting cards. I will then PM each person on their cost (per card) and their share of its shipping. You can pay that then through PP, unless other arraingements have been made.
I'll post all tracking info and such on this thread. When the grades populate, if you wish, I'll let you know through PM. Thanks. -Jimmy |
We,ll set this Wednesday (13th) as cutoff for "signup".
We've got four committed at this point. That'll give you plenty of time to send me your cards. Thanks. |
I have 5 or 6 I would like to send. Thank you.

Hey, what exactly is "Cards must be valued under $100 each" based on? This seems to be very wide open to interpretation.
Does it refer to Beckett 'book value' or some other indicator? I believe some PSA criteria revolves around the amount the card(s) would be insured for in the mail, but if that were the case, couldn't someone send a real valuable card along and just insure it for $100? And, along those lines, is it the graded value that counts? What if you have a 'valuable' card that's in rougher shape, do you base its value on the card in general or specifically on what it would be 'worth' based on its final grade?? Thanks! |
Hi Jimmy,
I have a few cards I would like to send in, and I am sending you a PM. Thanks for organizing this, Andrew |

When filling this out the first time with the help of a rep at the PSA table at a show years back I was even suggested to lower some values to lower my cost because some where just $10-$20 higher which bumped the cards to the next level. |

The PSA grades have been rather disappointing lately. Hopefully you will have better results than us.
|
UPDATE:
Our submission was entered into their system on 8 June. That is when our 30 BD countdown starts. Also, the special sub is back to me and on the way to it's owner. The grades came back as: (posted with his permission) Bender PSA 2 Leach PSA 2.5 Knetzer - NG evidence of trimming Berra - NG evidence of trimming Mantle PSA 6 Please note that the Knetzer and Berra had been graded by another "unnamed" company. Not Beckett or SGC, and I'll leave it at that. The other three were "raw'. I guess the next update is when the grades populate. By my count, around 21-22 July. |
Here are the grades. They posted this morning. You know which cards are yours.
