1939 joe dimaggio playball psa 2.5 QUESTION
1 Attachment(s)
hey guys,
im still very new to the vintage game, and have come across an interesting potential trade. i deal and collect almost all new high end auto stuff. anyways a guy has a 1939 playball joe dimaggio psa 2.5 card, well centered looks very nice. the trade would involve a griffey high end auto i have that i value about $450. just curious what the joe D is really worth in terms of sell value. i know i dont want to trade straight up, just trying to see what the card would actually sell for. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, mike |
$450 is a tad steep for a 2.5, they average more around $375. However, lower grade examples that present well can go way above VCP for this card, and yours looks really nice with great centering, corners, and color. It might command $450 in an auction. If you like the card, do the trade, it will be worth a couple extra dollars to admire your DiMaggio every day!

I agree the 450 is steep. I was going to ask him to add some paypal Into the deal.
As far as the DiMaggio goes I like it but just going to resell to buy someone I collect. Was really hoping to clear about 360-375 range for it if I can sell it. |
Yeah if you're going to flip it then there's probably no meat left for you at $450. I paid $430 for a nice looking 3 about six months ago, but the 2.5 presents a little stronger.
